This split comes out as a result of deep collaboration between musicians of very different fields - Razxca and Tim Ballista.
Razxca has been writing music for about 10 years, releasing numerous albums of field recordings, ambient, noise and micro-noise worldwide. As a free-form musician, Razxca reconstructs his emotions into patient, violent and hypnotic tunes, using very minimalistic equipment - tape recorder and demo version of simplest sequencer.
Tim is moving from breakcore and Hard-IDM scene, looking for his own sound in electronica. Finding some forms of sonic expression particularly interesting, Tim passes through some important styles in his releases. "Flux" touches the themes of fast and syncopated Hard-IDM sound, "Thing Scape" focuses on the concept of reconstructing the surrounding sounds and recordings into dramatic beat structures.
The release called "Split" has been constructed by Tim from the sounds, provided by Razxca. As a producer, Tim now turns to the means of melody and huge spaces, using analogue synthesis as a platform. The release was intended as a collection of short sound impressions, inspired by Ursula Le Guin novels and appears today as a free support and the mild contrast to the "Thing Scape" release, which comes out at Kaometry records.
